Millon Dollar Traders Documentary-A Hedge Fund Manager Teaches Ordinary People How To Become Successful

You must watch this Million Dollar Traders 3 part BBC documentary in which a hedge fund manager teaches ordinary people how to become successful traders. This Million Dollar Traders documentary was aired on BBC 2 in 2009. In this documentary the hedge fund manager Lex van Dam has attempted to recreate the orignal turtle trading experiment.  12 ordinary people who have no prior experience of trading dabble into shares trading during the height of the 2007-2008 financial crisis in which many big investment banks went belly up. 4 contestants leave and 8 are left. Watching the 3 part documentary once again illustrates the point that trading is not rocket science. It only requires common sense, discipline and patience. Those contestants who practice these things in the end turn out successful.  Interestingly most of these people have no prior experience of trading and none of them understand anything about trading. In the first part, meet these ordinary people and get introduced to them. In Part 1, these new traders get introduced to the trading floor for the first time and start building their portfolios.
