The bulls and bears are as usual engaged in the battle for the heart of S&P 500 Index. If you are a day trader who trades the S&P 500 Futures or the Emini S&P Futures, you must have been keenly following the battle of the bulls and bears for the control of the S&P 500 Market Index. Many investors invest in mutual funds based on this famous stock index. Others invest in ETFs that track the S&P 500 Index, the famous being the SPDRs pronounced as SPIDERS. Typical volume for the SPY SPDR averages between 300-400 million shares per day; the highest of any US stock traded on any exchange.

Adam is back from the South of France and he couldn’t have gotten back at a better time. The markets are choppy, we had a potential double bottom, and today should make for an interesting day. This is what Adam says: “The battle between the Bulls and Bears continues with very choppy trading action. The rally from a potential double bottom is cause for concern for the Bears, however the Bulls are in a similar situation as they have to prove their case with sustained market action.
